froth (2019)

froth is an independent film that portrays renegades living in a gray zone on the fringes of the law in the perpetually gray northern russian region, surrounded by the waters of the barents sea in all their forms. the spacious typography and minimalist promotional materials mirror the characters' alienation and the transient nature of their lives, mimicking bubbles on the water's surface.
the film made its debut to critical acclaim at the amsterdam international documentary film festival.
